Mrs. O'Connor brings with her a strong background in science education, a deep commitment to the academic and spiritual growth of our students, and a passion for developing innovative learning opportunities.
Mrs. O'Connor earned her Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Teaching through Purdue University. She began her journey at St. Rose in 2023 and quickly became a valued member of our school community.
For the past ten years, Mrs. O'Connor has lived in this community as a Navy spouse, with her husband stationed at NAS Lemoore. She and her family have been more than grateful for the wonderful support and camaraderie this community has provided.
Prior to joining us, Mrs. O'Connor taught biology and anatomy at Notre Dame High School for two years, where she was known for her dedication to student success and her engaging teaching style. Here at St. Rose, she consistently takes the initiative to support curriculum development and create enriching learning experiences.
One of Mrs. O'Connor's proudest accomplishments is the creation of a successful science program at our school. Through her leadership, she has significantly expanded the curriculum and increased students' exposure to advanced, hands-on labs at every grade level. It has been her goal to ensure that every child, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to engage in meaningful, challenging scientific exploration. She holds high standards for both herself and her students, and she is deeply grateful for the success and growth of the program.
We are thrilled to have Mrs. O'Connor serve in this important role and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make at St. Rose.
